But it’s not a Jamboree! Actually Jamba is founded by our AIESEC Alumni Iva Tsolova.
The first idea came 3 years ago when Iva and Yoana met while they were working in the NGO sector with people with hearing problems.
The organisation helps the people with diverse abilities to gain different experience and working experience and helping them find a workplace. In this way Jamba is the bridge between the people with diverse abilities and the employers in Bulgaria.
During its 2 years of work in Bulgaria Jamba has extending the way it can help both – the people and the companies – to deliver qualitative preparation of the candidates, but not only.
In 2017 Jamba organized the marathon Run2together which gather together people with diverse abilities and their partner in the jogging marathon. This is a great project which can show when there is motivation everything is possible.
Another project which took place 26.04.2018 is the Career Forum “Equality means more”. The forum was the joining place for the business and the candidates. The forum offered the place for the Business Speed Dating, different lectures and exhibition area.
Let’s not forget the campaign which Iva Tsolova won this year and it was “CEO for 1 month” joining the Adecco Bulgaria competition. As Iva shares the selection process was not an easy task and she went through few rounds until she got the chance to learn from the CEO of Adeco Bulgaria new approaches in the selection process of candidates which could be implemented and increase the different view to some internal projects.
After the hot summer of a CEO Iva came back to Jamba to implement her ideas in her organization. You can learn more for her and her team of heartwarming people in here.
The most recent piece of surprise is the Forbes Business Awards 2018 where Jamba surprised everyone getting 2 awards: 1 place Award for Social Contribution and 2nd award for a Starting Business. See their post on their Facebook page here.
